The long-awaited College English Teaching Guide and National Standards for Teaching Undergraduate Foreign Language Majors will be released this year. These two documents will further clarify the importance of English for Specific Purposes (ESP) and serve as guides for the reform of college English and English major education. In this context, the English for Specific Purposes Committee of the China Association for Comparative Studies of English and Chinese will host the 5th National Conference of the Chinese Association for ESP at Yunnan University of Finance & Economics (Kunming) from November 18-20, 2016.

Please submit your proposal before August 1, 2016. The abstract should be limited to 300 words. Notices of proposal acceptances will go out after September 1, 2016.
